Chris Webber is coming home. He cleared waivers about an hour ago and will sign with the Detroit Pistons. C-Webb grew up in the Detroit area. He went to Detroit Country Day, where he led them to the MHSAA championships 3 times. He then went to the University of Michigan and became part of the Fab Five. The Fab Five were five freshman who were all put in the starting line-up in their first year. The members were: Ray Jackson, Jimmy King, Juwan Howard, Jalen Rose, and Webber. The only member who did not make it to the NBA was Ray Jackson, who ended up playing the the CBA. Chris Webber was cheered at the Palace of Auburn Hills when he showed up yesterday in the Pistons loss. Webber was booed whenever he came to the Palace before, most likely because of "The Time-out" or because he accepted money from a booster eliminating  Michigan's stats during his tenure. C-Webb will play on the same starting lineup as Rasheed Wallace, Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, and Tayshaun Prince. Currently, the Detroit Pistons have the second best record in the Eastern Conference about halfway through the year. Details have not yet been realeased on the condition of the deal.
