Today, Lions fans are planning to walk out of the game before halftime in the Lions battle against the Bears. This is protesting William Clay Ford Jr.'s refusal to fire Matt Millen. Herbert Nicholl, Jr., is planning this. He is telling Lions fans and season ticket holders going to the game on Christmas Eve to either cancel their plans to go there or to walk into the stadium lounge 8:57 before halftime and chant "Fire Millen". Then, at Halftime, they will leave the stadium and walk around the outside and chant "Fire Millen" again. This has become my favorite phrase. I can say it all day, too.

Matt Millen's record with the Lions has been all but impressive, standing at 23-70 overall and are 5-41 on the road. Millen has had 4 different coaches hired during his tenure.(Morninwheig, Marriucci, Jaruon, and Marrinnelli) Morninwheig is now a successful offensive coordinator with the Philadelphia Eagles. Marriucci is now on the NFL Network, co-hosting on the NFL recap show. Dick Jaruon is now the head coach of the Buffalo Bills. With three coaches fired, this has us asking "Why is he still here?". No General Manager, President or CEO of a team has ever stayed with a record this bad. This is what need to happen. William Ford needs to sell the team, Fire Millen, and we need to draft Joe Thomas from Wisconsin. We need him because our offensive line sucks. This all needs to happen by late April, too, just before the draft.
